Food Bank Party - November 19, 2005

We held a party to collect non perishable food for City Mission on Saturday November 19, 2005.  Our friends and family were very generous and donated a lot of food.  We were very thankful for everyone's donations.  Nicholas will deliver the food to City Mission later next week.

City Mission's Vision:

City Mission's vision is to break the cycle of generational poverty and meet the educational, physical and spiritual needs of families in the Brightmoor community, through loving, mentoring relationships that make life-change possible.

We have structured City Mission around four foundational "pillars" we believe will make transformation in the Brightmoor community possible. The four pillars are Education, Leadership, Family and Community.

These volunteers collected the food as guests arrived, hung up coats, served food, cleaned up after dinner and watched the younger children.
