Christmas 2006 - Four Galleries
1. Christmas with Friends - December 16, 2006 On December 16, Mike, Lisa, Benjamin and Patti came to our house to celebrate an early Christmas. Anne made a very nice dinner. Nicholas and Christine had a lot of fun playing with Benjamin, who exhibited a lot of skills on the piano and kicking a soccer ball.

Christmas Eve at the Johnston's House On Christmas Eve, Anne and I took Nicholas and Christine to her parents' house for the annual Christmas Eve dinner and gift exchange with her nieces and nephews. We had a surprise visit from Santa! Christine and Samantha sat on his lap while he read "The Night Before Christmas". Christine also helped Santa hand out gifts. After that, Samantha helped her Papa hand out presents to everyone! Everyone received very nice gifts. We gave Anne's brother Jim a photo book from his birthday, as well as some framed photos of him and James and Laura. Cathy and Scott called from Florida to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

For the first time in several years, the kids actually woke up before us. Once we made it downstairs, Christine and Nicholas had a wonderful time opening their gifts. Anne loved her gifts from the kids and me. All in all, she had a wonderful Christmas. The kids really had fun opening their gifts. Nicholas accidently opened one of Christine's gifts, which she found very funny, since it was one of her "Bratz" CDs.

Christmas Evening with the Williamsons This year, the Williamson family - Rick and Alice, Ken and Sam, Mary, Stephen and Stephanie, Dave and Debbie, Andrew, Sarah and Russell, Wendy and Geoff and Mom and Dad all came to our house for Christmas dinner, gifts for the kids and the "Secret Santa" game. Everyone had a very nice time. Anne made a great dinner. The kids had a lot of fun with their older cousins. Christine really enjoyed her dad's "gag gift" - a purse with a diary and a photo album. Nicholas played "Halo 2" with his dad, Sam and Andrew. It was an enjoyable evening of conversation, laughter and football games.
