West Middle School Track

West Middle School had a very successful track season.  They finished 2-1 overall, beating Discovery and Central and losing to East.  However West won the League Meet - the meeting of all the schools at Canton High School.  In each meet, Nick ran the 800 meter (1/2 mile) and 1600 meter (1 mile).  In his final meet of middle school, Nick broke his record and ran a mile in 5 minutes 57 seconds!  He's hoping to improve on that time by 30 seconds before he starts high school track next spring.
