Detroit Tigers - May 27, 2011

On May 27, 2011 Anne, Christine, Nick and I attended the Detroit Tigers baseball game.  The Tigers played the Red Sox.  Unfortunately, they lost 6-3, but we enjoyed the game nonetheless.  The relief pitcher, Charlie Furbush, held the Red Sox to no runs for five innings.  Jhonny Peralta hit a home run.

Anne and the kids gave me the tickets to the game as a birthday present.  We had a great time at the game.  We also enjoyed the fireworks afterwards.  It was a misty cold night, but fortunately the rain stayed away.
