The team put in a great effort and lost in the last three minutes of the game 29-28.  Our boys played exceptionally well.  They showed solid game playing and exceptional teamwork.  The defense really did a fabulous job against one of the top ranked teams in the league.  The offense was remarkably good in setting up scoring opportunities. 

The game was a real nail biter.  When Kevin fouled out with 30 seconds left, Coach Mike put in Austin.  We were down by 4 points.  Coach Mike asked Austin to do the unthinkable... score a three pointer and get the ball back as soon as possible.  Austin came through and scored an amazing three pointer, putting us within 1 point.  The Heat unfortunately held on as the clock ticked down to zero.

• Austin's wicked outside shooting, including today's 3 pointer
• Kevin's "magic" baskets when he's triple covered, and his leadership
• Nicholas' team spirit and improvement this season
• Mike's speed and his unbelievable forced turnovers
• Josh's lightening moves and great shooting
• Nick's amazing defense and incredible speed
• Zack's calm demeanor, leadership and his domination under the rim
• Reza's awesome playoff scoring and his self confidence which improved so much during the season
• Danny's quiet determination and improvement all season
• Last but not least, Coach Mike Silletti's great coaching and leadership.  He and his family did a great job mentoring these great kids into excellent team players.  Thank you for your hard work!
