Game 1 was painful reminder that teamwork, passing, covering the opponents, and dealing with warm weather are things that we have to continue to improve upon.  We were slaughtered 10-2  by Novi. One of our few bright spots were Yash's two goals and Robert's outstanding defense and second half goalkeeping.   Paul was on defense and played a strong second half.  In addition to Mark's goalkeeping, he also played on offense in the second half, nearly scoring a goal.  Adi played a very good first game, showing a lot of promise.  He was credited with an assist.  Brian really hustled a lot today with some strong playing and an assist.  Kyle did a very good job in his first game with some excellent stops and great passes.  Nicholas had a slow start but showed improvement in the second half.   Austin was still nursing an injury from the night before, but hung in there and was credited with an assist.  Evan was great on defense, making many heroic plays.  Craig also had several key plays today.
