What a game!  We tied the best team 0-0!  We used a strong defensive strategy and shut out Novi!  It was all about D-E-F-E-N-S-E!!   After losing to this same team 10-2 in game 1 earlier this season, we adopted a new strategy to prevent them from beating us again.  We used a "brick wall defense" plan which involved the strongest kickers on defense, consistently sending the ball over midfield for our offense to keep the pressure on the other team.  A big thanks to Adi and Yash, who together formed our defensive backbone.  Joey and Austin were perfect on midfield.  If it weren't for Joey being one step off sides, his goal would have counted.  Joey did however, keep the pressure on for almost the entire game.  He went in the backfield to help the defense (in one miraculous play, he stopped a goal when a Novi player got past Adi and Yash).  Moving Nicholas, Brian, Paul, Evan, Kyle and Craig to offense paid off.  They were outstanding in passing, shots on goal and keeping the pressure on Novi's defense.  Of course none of this would have mattered had Robert not been in goal.  He stopped an amazing 18 shots on goal and allowed no goals!
