Awards Party

The Lasers celebrated their final season in style at a party hosted by David and Min Lou.  First, Coach Ted honored each player with a picture slide show of the players since they were five or six years old in the early days on the "Orange Rockets".  Then each player received a book of photos of their soccer memories from their earliest days on the team and newer photos through the years.  Then each player received an award for this season's performances.  Afterwards, the parents gave Coach Ted a wonderful soccer scrapbook signed by each player with photos and the player's own written 'favorite memories' of being on our team.  They also gave Coach Ted and Anne a plaque commemorating their work on the team.

Thank you everyone for all your support and your patience with our team over the years.  I have enjoyed coaching this team for the last 9 years. It was a great learning experience for everyone and a great way to spend weekends, but most of all it was great having fun watching our kids grow together and enjoy themselves.
