Game Summary:
Caitlyn was very good in goal, blocking most of the shots and making several great saves. In the second half on offense, she was great! She made several shots on goal, and she really understood where she was supposed to be playing. Lauren played midfield for three quarters. She learned this new position and did very well helping the defense and passing to the offense. Colleen continued to improve and help others with her strong defensive playing. She kept the ball out of our zone most of the time and enabled our offense to shoot. Christine tried to be goalie for the first time this season. She made several saves and enthusiastically threw the ball to the offense. Corinne played goal keeper in the second half and allowed no goals! Reagan not only scored the only goal of the game, but she also did very well dribbling the ball and passing. Samantha was great in goal, and on offense, she was very strong, nearly scoring twice. She also fell in the mud and continued playing. She did very well under harsh playing conditions. Erin T. had the ball in front of the goal and nearly scored. She followed directions well and helped the offense. Erin P. had an assist on Reagan's goal. She was also phenomenal on defense, stripping the ball away from team 4's aggressive offense time and time again. Claire was also very strong on defense today, showing a very determined style in her passing, clearing and ball handling.
