Game 8 - 2/23/2005

Home Up

Game 8 Showed a lot of promise for future games.  We pulled together and did well as a team, but inevitably fell short against a better team.  We did learn a lot tonight and all season about playing as a team, covering our position and looking for opportunities..  We really missed Matt, but we were glad to see he was ok. We were happy to see him at the party following the game.   Benedict played a great game tonight.  He scored a goal and set up many scoring opportunities.  Yash scored a goal and did a great job helping the defense.  James was great in the goal in the first half, making many heroic saves.  He also did a great job on the offense with two assists.  Erik played a very good heads up game, passing and blocking for the offense.  Nicholas played a great game with several good passes and steals.  Brian was very solid on defense, making several key plays and breaking up many attacks.  Kristopher played a strong offensive and defensive game.  He scored a very good goal tonight against a tough defense. Nate was credited with his first assist ever, with a pass to Benedict which resulted in a goal.  Great job Nate!  Christopher really played a tough game on defense against an aggressive offense.  Daniel scored a goal and was credited with as assist.  He kept the pressure on the defense and later provided support for our defense. Paul was great tonight with many stops and passes to the offense.  Craig was awesome on defense stopping many attacks and making some great steals.  Tony was really focused tonight with some great passing and stealing.  He was a force to be dealt with on the field.  Austin punished the offense whenever the came into our backfield.  He made some great stops and passed the ball well.  Mark played a great first half on defense with many great kicks.  In the 2nd half he did a heroic job in goal.  Great season team!
